Last updated: 16 August 2026

Welcome to Verelé.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of verele.eu and purchases made through our online store.

Throughout these Terms, “Verelé”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating Verelé. Our online store is powered by Shopify.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our applicable policies, including our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you have under applicable Danish or European Union consumer law.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, collect information unlawfully, infringe intellectual-property rights or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

If you create a customer account, you are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for providing accurate and current information.

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect Verelé, our customers, Shopify or our service providers from fraud, abuse, security threats or unlawful activity.

3. Our Products

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, ingredients, sizes, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings, lighting and other factors.

Product packaging, presentation or formulation may occasionally change. Where required by applicable law, relevant product information will be provided before purchase.

Products are subject to availability, and we may discontinue or change our product range at any time.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights if a product does not conform to the contract or its description.

4. Skincare Information

Information provided on Verelé.eu concerning skincare, ingredients, routines, skin types or skin concerns is provided for general informational and cosmetic purposes.

Individual experiences with cosmetic products may vary.

Our content is not intended to constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have a medical skin condition, severe or persistent irritation, allergies or other health concerns, you should seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Always follow the instructions and warnings supplied with the relevant product.

5. Orders

When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the products in your basket.

After placing your order, you will receive an electronic confirmation. The point at which a binding purchase contract is concluded will be determined by the checkout/order process and applicable law.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example because:

  • A product is unavailable;
  • Payment cannot be authorised;
  • The information supplied is materially incorrect;
  • We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse;
  • An obvious pricing or product-information error has occurred; or
  • We cannot lawfully supply the product to the requested destination.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the relevant amount will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

Please review your delivery details carefully before submitting your order.

6. Prices, VAT and Payment

Prices displayed on Verelé.eu will be presented in the currency applicable to your shopping experience.

Where required, prices shown to consumers include applicable VAT.

Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

For deliveries to destinations where additional customs duties, import VAT, taxes or fees may apply, responsibility for such charges will be stated during checkout or in our Shipping Policy, as applicable.

We may change product prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders for which a binding purchase contract has already been concluded.

Payment is processed using the payment methods offered at checkout.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method selected for your purchase.

7. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Verelé may offer promotions, discounts or promotional codes.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Promotional codes may be subject to expiry dates, minimum order values or product restrictions;
  • Only one promotional code may be permitted per order; and
  • Promotions may not be combined where expressly stated.

Specific promotional terms displayed with an offer will apply to that promotion.

Nothing in promotional terms affects mandatory consumer rights.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and applicable shipping charges are displayed during checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

Unless another delivery period has been agreed, applicable EU consumer rules generally require goods to be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after conclusion of the contract.

Delays may occasionally occur because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where this happens, we will handle the order in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Risk During Delivery

Where Verelé arranges delivery, the risk of loss of or damage to the products generally remains with Verelé until you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the products.

If you independently commission a carrier that was not offered by Verelé, different rules may apply.

This replaces the automated Shopify clause stating that risk passes when products are transferred to the carrier; that wording is not appropriate for ordinary EU consumer deliveries.

9. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Eligible consumers have the statutory right to withdraw from qualifying distance purchases within the period prescribed by applicable law.

For EU consumers, this is generally 14 days from receipt of the goods, subject to statutory exceptions.

Full information about exercising this right, return procedures, return costs, hygiene-related exceptions and refunds is provided in our Return & Refund Policy.

Certain sealed products that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons may lose the statutory right of withdrawal once the seal has been broken after delivery, where the legal conditions for that exception are satisfied.

Nothing in these Terms restricts your mandatory statutory rights.

10. Faulty or Non-Conforming Products

Your rights concerning faulty, damaged or non-conforming products are separate from your right to change your mind.

Consumers purchasing goods in the EU generally benefit from a minimum two-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty or do not conform to the contract.

If you believe you have received a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at info@verele.eu with your order details and information about the issue.

We will handle valid claims in accordance with applicable consumer law.

11. Cosmetics and Product Use

Please read product labels, ingredient lists, instructions and warnings before use.

If you have known allergies or sensitivities, review the ingredient list carefully before using a product.

Discontinue use if you experience an unexpected adverse reaction and seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.

Product results vary between individuals, and descriptions of expected cosmetic benefits do not constitute a guarantee that every customer will experience identical results.

Nothing in this section excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Gift Cards

Where Verelé offers gift cards, additional terms may apply.

Gift cards:

  • May be used toward eligible purchases on Verelé.eu;
  • Cannot normally be exchanged for cash except where required by law;
  • Must be protected by the recipient from unauthorised use; and
  • Are subject to any validity or other conditions displayed at purchase, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

13. Intellectual Property

The Verelé website and its original content—including the Verelé name, logos, branding, text, graphics, photography, product presentation, page designs and other materials—are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws where owned or licensed by us.

You may access the website for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, modify or republish protected Verelé content without our prior permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

14. Reviews and Customer Content

If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, comment or other content to Verelé, you confirm that you have the right to submit that material and that it does not violate applicable law or another person's rights.

You grant Verelé a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce and use submitted content in connection with operating and promoting Verelé, subject to applicable privacy and consumer-protection law.

We may remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, infringes third-party rights or otherwise violates these Terms.

Where reviews have been incentivised, this should be disclosed as required by applicable law.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may use or link to services provided by third parties, including payment providers, delivery companies, social-media platforms and other technology providers.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Verelé is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Shopify

Verelé.eu is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to operate our online store.

Purchases made from the Verelé store are transactions between you and Verelé, not between you and Shopify.

Shopify may process certain personal data in connection with providing its services. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.

The existing Shopify-generated Terms specifically flag the Shopify relationship section as one merchants should not remove or modify. I would therefore preserve its substance while presenting it more naturally within the Verelé terms.

17. Privacy and Cookies

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our website may also use cookies and similar technologies. Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies will be used in accordance with your consent choices.

18. Errors and Availability

Despite reasonable efforts, our website may occasionally contain typographical errors or inaccurate information concerning product descriptions, availability, pricing, promotions or other content.

We may correct genuine errors when identified.

Where an error affects an order already submitted, we will handle the situation fairly and in accordance with applicable contract and consumer law. Nothing in this section allows us to disregard a binding consumer contract where applicable law does not permit us to do so.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Verelé is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was concluded or for losses arising from misuse of products contrary to their instructions.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, these Terms do not exclude rights or remedies provided by mandatory Danish or EU consumer law.

I strongly prefer this formulation to Shopify's extremely broad exclusion of essentially all direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special and consequential damages.

20. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Such circumstances may include major transport disruption, natural disasters, governmental action, widespread telecommunications failures or other events that we could not reasonably prevent.

This provision does not affect rights you may have under mandatory consumer law, including rights relating to non-delivery.

21. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms and purchases made through Verelé.eu are governed by Danish law, without depriving consumers residing in another country of mandatory protections that apply to them under applicable law.

Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also have access to applicable national or cross-border consumer complaint and alternative dispute-resolution procedures.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page together with the updated revision date.

Changes will not retrospectively reduce rights relating to purchases already concluded where doing so would be contrary to applicable law.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
